first camping trip

This past weekend we had planned to take a trip to Flaming Gorge with some friends.
After a long day of things going wrong, we bagged the Flaming Gorge idea and headed towards Pine Dale Wyoming.
We finally used our new tent on our FIRST camping trip together.
The weather was amazing, the water was {freezing, but!} beautiful, the food was delish, the company was awesome, and the weekend was overall fabulous!!
I always enjoy spending time with my husband and friends!!!

worst. pain. EVER.

So you know, back in your wild days.. when you do really stupid things that you wish you could take back?? yeah. Well mine was getting a tattoo with an ex-boyfriend. Matching in fact {just in different places} very dumb, i know. I was young. Since the day I dumped that guy I've wanted it removed, just haven't been able to afford it.  Thanks to my wonderful husband who loves me {and has all the hook ups} it's finally getting done!
Dave tells everyone that I absolutely love pain.  He is indeed telling the truth, i do love pain.  Don't ask me why.  This pain on the other hand.... is EXTREMELY painful. extremely.
My first session we were naive and didn't take any pictures or video. dumb.  This time we were smart. Also, on my first treatment, I had to take ONE break {the pain was unbearable} But both the Owner and the girl who performed the treatment were very impressed on how well I handled it.  So.  This time, I decided I would go with ZERO breaks.  And I conquered. In pain.
I go in every 8 weeks for about 8-10 treatments.  The tattoo is actually looking really good and fading faster than I thought.  We're excited for this thing to finally be gone forever!

sunday funday

This Sunday we slept in until 10:30.... TEN THIRTY! We had quite the late night Saturday... 9:00am church wasn't happening at the Eggett's.  We had left over Robintino's for breakfast, laid around all morning and then decided to go do a little shopping at The Gateway Mall.  Rachel, Zack and Emily {Oh yeah!! Emleeee came home this weekend.  She surprised us all and showed up Saturday night} came along and we really enjoyed ourselves didn't we?
oh! I just have to say how much I love and adore my amazing husband!!  He seriously makes me so happy!!!
Bring on the new week......

a little giggle

July third.  Dave and I, along with a few friends spent the long, hot evening waiting for fireworks to go off at EagleWood Golf Course.  This is probably one of my favorite things about summer.  Usually getting home after this event takes 2 hours, plus some.  Except for this year.  Because Dave is an amazing driver.  We stopped by my mother's home to hang out for a bit and this is what our night consisted of.
S M D You Lil B

Are you wondering what this means? yeah.  I would too, if I were you.  So here is the story.  In our new {and amazing} apartment, our lovely downstairs neighbor has been complaining of 'stomping' after quiet hours.  Okay. stomping? Dave and I definitely don't stomp.  Here is the other thing... We can hear our neighbor's above us walking around.. It's an apartment.  get used to it.

So Dave and I were telling Rachel and Zack about our phone call we received.  I was simply just telling them how I wanted to respond. {I know, it was inappropriate. I was mad}  We came up with the idea of, making a sign with the above abbreviations and lowering it down onto her balcony late a night.  When we thought about the phone calls we would receive afterwards, we came up with a different abbreviation.

Smile More Downstairs You Lil Buckaroo

and this was the result of our new abbreviations.....

okay, okay. the video is currently having technical difficulties.  I promise you will want to see it... so stay tuned.

happy

I was just thinking about all the big and little things in life that make me happy.  Wondering if I express how grateful I am for what I have enough, deciding that I probably don't as much as I should. I am making a goal to show my appreciation more for everything that I have and for everything that makes my life, happy.
big things.
- My Amazing Husband. Who makes me smile every single day.  Who is my best friend,
someone that I can always count on.  He shows me how much he loves and cares about me
every single day. He is the number one reason why I am so Happy.

-A Job. That I love so much!!

-A roof over our heads and food on our table.
-Clothes to wear and a bed to sleep in.

- Two cars to safely provide both Dave and I transportation.

-Two very loving families, which I love and care so much about.

and many many more.

little things.
-a pool in my backyard
-my sexy husband
-popsicles
-TV
-a fluffy pillow
-music
-building forts {which still needs to be done in our new apartment}
-late night talks
-laughing
-dance
-summer
-reading, books, learning
-this guy named, Dave
-the outdoors
-friends
-movies
-ice cream
-contacts
-shoes
-the smell of cologne
-being married
-and SO much more, the list could go on and on. I just wanted to sit down. Write a list {whether it was big or small, detailed or vague} of some of the things that make me happy in life.

weekend

This weekend was actually really nice and relaxing... I didn't want to wake up this morning. {Monday's are always the worst!!!}
Saturday I spent the morning cleaning up around the apartment while Dave played some zombies, attempted making waffles with our new waffle maker and didn't succeed. We bagged that idea and went grocery shopping. Once we got home, we decided to try the whole waffle thing ONE more time and sure enough it worked and they were oh so delicious.
We also went swimming with Rachel and Zack... had to get some sun time in. {you know me.. I love the sun}
That night, Dave and I went to the Bee's Game with Brooke and Shad {thanks guys!!!} Although I think baseball is pretty boring, I think we had a good time!
We ended the night with a slumber party with the sister Rachel..
Sunday we seriously did nothing.. it was so nice to just relax instead of constantly doing something 24/7
And of course we had our lovely Sunday dinner up at the Eggett's. Dave and I taught our little niece how to do a backhand spring. After spotting her 3 or 4 times, she had it all by herself! YAY!!
We had our nightly ice cream and banana's snack {that we haven't had the last 2 weeks :(} did some sit ups and push ups and then crashed.

 Bring on the new week!!!
